These prints celebrate the old hawthorn hedgerows that wind their way across the Peak District landscape. I wonder at the hands and bill hooks that created these impenetrable field boundaries and am fascinated by their construction and how natures growth can be harnessed. After spending a weekend learning the basics of hedge laying my admiration, respect and enjoyment of these living structures grew tenfold.
